James Roach is CEO of the Inclusive Multi Academy Trust in Watford, leading four primary schools where over 60 languages are spoken. With 25 years in education, James founded the trust in 2016 to ensure children in disadvantaged communities receive equal life chances. A former Headteacher, he is passionate about creating truly inclusive curriculum that serves every child. His work focuses on DEIB, inclusive practice and nurturing approaches that support diverse learners and families. The Inclusive Multi Academy Trust has won the 2025 MAT Excellence EDI Award and became England's first MAT to achieve National Nurturing Schools accreditation across all schools.
