I'm humbled and proud to lead such an amazing organisation full of exceptional people doing exceptional things, I like to call them #EMATters. I have a lifelong commitment to social justice and have worked across the education sector at senior levels for over 25 years, starting my career as a teacher in 1996. 

I want to make a difference and improve children's life chances. Poor mental health, poverty of opportunity, lack of equity, equality and division affect many in our society. We need strong role models, expert educators, and world class facilities to equip our children to navigate the world they will inherit. That is what inspires me and that is what #EMATters exists to do.
