Kate is Director of Education at Hales Valley Trust, bringing extensive experience in school improvement, executive leadership and system-wide development. She leads the Trust’s educational strategy, securing sustained improvements in standards, curriculum quality and teaching practice across all schools. Working closely with leaders, she identifies key priorities, implements evidence-informed change and ensures measurable impact for pupils.

A recognised system leader, she serves as a  borough peer review facilitator and RISE Adviser for the Department for Education, supporting schools across the West Midlands to raise standards and strengthen leadership capacity. An accredited professional coach and research-informed leader, Kate combines strategic clarity with deep pedagogical expertise to drive consistent, high-quality practice.
