Mark is the CEO of Tapestry Learning Partnership. He has always worked in Education, first as a teacher, then a deputy headteacher, and was appointed to his first headship aged just 27. A couple of headships later he moved into wider school improvement across a local authority before moving into the MAT world. Mark was one of two founding members and CEO of a Diocesan MAT, growing it from zero to 30 schools. Following this Mark became the CEO of both Djanogly Learning Trust and QEGSMAT and brought these two Trusts together through a merger process to form Tapestry Learning Partnership.  Having been the CEO of four different Trusts over the last 11 years, an Ofsted inspector and NLE, his passion for education and making a difference to the lives of our young people just gets stronger and stronger. Mark is a huge believer in collaboration and has learnt that experience doesn’t mean you have all the answers, but you do know where to go to get them!
