Mary Myatt is an education adviser, writer and speaker, with experience as a teacher, local authority adviser and inspector. She works with pupils, teachers and leaders on learning, leadership and curriculum development.

Mary has written extensively on school improvement and the curriculum, with current work informed by the University of Sussex Just Reading research and its impact on reading outcomes. She founded The Teachers’ Collection, supporting literacy across the curriculum, and is passionate about reframing Key Stage 3 as the ambitious, intellectual heart of secondary education.
