Naveed began his teaching career in Yorkshire as a Science Teacher, quickly progressing to Head of Science and later into senior leadership roles in London. His journey in education eventually led to Headship, where he developed a deep interest in system-wide school improvement and educational equity.

In September 2024, Naveed joined the Westcountry Schools Trust, taking on strategic oversight of the secondary schools. He is deeply committed to improving social mobility, particularly for students from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. His focus is on ensuring that every student achieves success in English and Maths, with the ambitious goal of 100% pass rates
