Susie Babar is Chief People Officer at E-ACT, a multi-academy trust with 3,500 staff across 37 academies. With a background as a qualified lawyer and years of experience leading HR teams in education, legal, and professional services, Susie is passionate about helping organisations and their people thrive. She’s known for bringing people together, driving positive change, and making sure strategy and culture go hand-in-hand.

Before joining E-ACT, Susie held senior HR roles within international law firms, where she led teams across the UK and globally, developed leadership programmes, and supported talent and responsible business initiatives. She’s also worked as an HR consultant and manager in other leading firms and is adept at shaping organisational strategic agenda and driving operational HR delivery.

Susie holds an MA in HR Management, an LLB (Hons),  is a member of the Law Society and a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
